The Library has non law collections in heraldry, genealogy, topography, English history, literature and biography which have been bought or donated to the Inner Temple over the centuries.

Records for these collections are held partly on the Library’s online catalogue and partly in the card catalogue.

Non law books (with certain exceptions) may be borrowed by Inner Temple barristers and tenants in private practice with chambers in London.  The loan period is four weeks.
