Researching EU Case Law

What are the European Court Reports?

These are the official law reports of the ECJ. They contain the judgments and opinions of the ECJ and Advocates-General. They are in 3 parts: the judgments and opinions of the Court of Justice, together with the opinions of the Advocates-General, are published in part I; the judgments of the Court of First Instance are published in part II; case-law in staff cases is in part III. There is some delay in the publication of decisions due to the need to ensure an accurate translation of the judgments into all EU languages. Given this you should check the Curia database for recent decisions.
