The Main Floor of the Library is accessible to users in wheelchairs. Staff at the Enquiry Point will be pleased to assist any reader who is unable to reach the material or equipment they require, e.g. material on high shelves, photocopier controls, books or terminals on the Gallery Level (to which there is no lift access). One of the PCs in Room A is located on a low-level table so as to be accessible to wheelchair users. For blind or partially-sighted users this PC has been fitted with a large monitor, large-print keyboard and JAWS screen-reading software. One of the PCs in Room C also has a large screen and is connected to a desktop video magnifier. The Enquiry Point is fitted with an induction loop for the hard of hearing.
