The Inner Temple Library is a legal reference library, which dates back to 1506. It supports the information and research requirements of barrister, student and judicial members of all four Inns of Court. It is not open to the general public.
Members of the Inns of Court can request materials to be scanned and emailed to them via the Document Supply Service.
Need a legal text that is not in our collection? Our Patron-Driven Acquisition scheme is intended to help fill that gap.
The Library offers a range legal research training, including personal one-to-one sessions.
