General InformationThe Inner Temple Library will supply photocopies from Library stock, subject to the provisions of the law of copyright (the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and the Copyright and Related Rights Regulations 2003), to all Inner Temple Benchers and to barrister members of the Inner Temple working in chambers outside central London. Requests from members of other Inns will be met only if their own Inns Library does not hold the required item. Enquiries may be made by post, fax, telephone or email (Enquiry Point Tel: 020 7797 8217; Fax: 020 7583 6030 / 020 7797 8224; Email: distanceservice@innertemple.org.uk). Each request for photocopies must be accompanied by a completed Inner Temple Library photocopy application and copyright/judicial proceedings declaration form, bearing the signature of the ultimate user of the requested material. We endeavour to provide a same-day service for requests received before 5pm. Please note that it may not be possible to supply documents on the same day if a request is exceptionally large (in terms of the number of pages or items) or if we need to contact you for clarification. Response will be by first class post, fax or scan/email as required. It will not always be possible to make copies from some publications because of their age or physical condition.
