The Library’s Annual Review of activities for 2022 is now available.
The Library is closing at 6.00pm on Wednesday 1 February and Friday 3 February due to the train strikes. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
From Wednesday 4 January to Friday 6 January the Library will open from 9.00am to 6.00pm because of the train strikes. Please see the other Inns’ websites for their current opening times.
The Library will close for Christmas at 2.00pm on Wednesday 21 December and reopen at 9.00am on Wednesday 4 January 2023. This calendar gives the opening hours of all four Inn Libraries over the Christmas vacation.

The Inner Temple Book Prize, inaugurated in 2008 to mark the Inn’s long-standing commitment to legal scholarship and the education of law students and of lawyers in practice, is pleased to announce the shortlist for 2022.
This Patron-Driven Acquisition Scheme is intended to be responsive to the needs of Inner Temple Library users if they discover a book that they need is not available in the Library collection.
All requests meeting the criteria below will be automatically purchased whilst funds remain available.
Items that do not meet the criteria will be considered by the Librarian and the Books Sub-Committee but without a guarantee of purchase.
The Library is running a Whodunnit style induction on Tuesday 4 October from 5.00pm. A reception will be held afterwards where you can meet members of the Library Committee. Please contact library@innertemple.org.uk to book your place.
