We are now subscribing to the Lexis®PSL service, which we have been trialling for some time. This provides practice notes, forms, precedents, commentary and current awareness for 35 practice areas. These include Arbitration, Banking & Finance, Commercial, Competition, Construction, Corporate, Corporate Crime, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Energy, Environment, Family, Financial Services, Immigration, In-House, Information Law, Insurance & Reinsurance, Intellectual Property & Information Technology, Life Sciences, Local Government, Pensions, Personal Injury, Planning, Practice Compliance, Practice Management, Private Client, Property, Property Disputes, Public Law, Restructuring & Insolvency, Risk and Compliance, Share Incentives, Tax, TMT, and Wills and Probate.

The service is available within the Library and we also have a limited number of log-ins which will allow us to make the service available by remote access to Inner Temple members who are practising barristers. Priority will be given to barristers outside London who are unable to visit the Library in person.

A list of New Titles and New Editions received by the Library between October and December 2019 has just been published.

We have curated a list of over 250 free legal education resources, including MOOCs, courseware, lecture collections and podcasts, covering a range of topics and jurisdictions.

Barristers can use the Law Society Library from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 January 2020. Please email or phone (020 7320 5946) the Library first to arrange a security pass and if possible let them know which resource(s) you wish to refer to.

The Library will close for Christmas at 2.00 p.m. on Friday 20 December and reopen at 9.00 a.m. on Monday 6 January 2020. This calendar gives the opening hours of all four Inn Libraries over the Christmas vacation.
